The frog tongue whip is a gruesome and deadly weapon that resembles a long and slender tongue. The whip is pale and fleshy, with a grayish-white color and a slimy texture. The tip of the whip is especially dangerous, as it has a sticky and acidic surface that can burn and pull its victims. The tongue is attached to a wooden handle.

The whip has a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it.

Sticky

When you hit a creature or an object that is not fixed in place with the whip, you can choose to pull it up to 10 feet closer to you. If the target is a creature, it can make a contested Strength check against you to resist being pulled. If the target is an object, it is automatically pulled unless it is too heavy or attached to something else.

The frog tongue whip is a rare and coveted weapon among swamp dwellers, who know the dangers and rewards of hunting the giant frogs that lurk in the murky waters. These amphibious beasts can grow up to 15 feet long and weigh over a ton, and their tongues are their most fearsome weapons. They can lash out with incredible speed and accuracy, snatching prey from up to 30 feet away and dragging them into their gaping mouths.

One of the few who managed to slay one of these creatures and claim its tongue as a trophy was a half-orc ranger named Gruk. He was a renowned hunter and tracker, who had spent years exploring the swamps and learning their secrets. He had heard stories of the giant frogs, but had never encountered one until one fateful day.
He was tracking a group of bandits who had raided a nearby village, when he stumbled upon a large pool of water that seemed unusually still. He sensed something was wrong, and drew his bow, ready for an ambush. As he approached the pool, he saw a pair of huge eyes emerge from the surface, followed by a massive head and body. It was a giant frog, and it had spotted him.
The frog opened its mouth and shot out its tongue, aiming for Gruk’s chest. Gruk reacted quickly, dodging to the side and firing an arrow at the frog’s eye. The arrow hit its mark, but did not seem to slow down the frog, which retracted its tongue and prepared for another strike.
Gruk knew he had to act fast, or he would be swallowed whole. He ran towards the frog, hoping to get close enough to use his dagger. The frog lunged at him, snapping its jaws. Gruk rolled under its belly, slashing at its soft underbelly with his blade. He felt his dagger sink into flesh, but also felt a sharp pain in his leg. He looked down and saw the frog’s tongue wrapped around his ankle, pulling him towards its mouth.
Gruk grabbed his dagger with both hands and stabbed it into the base of the tongue, severing it from the frog’s mouth. He felt a surge of blood and acid spill over his leg, burning his skin. He screamed in agony, but also in triumph. He had killed the frog, and claimed its tongue as his prize.
He cut off the rest of the tongue from the frog’s corpse, and dragged it back to his camp. He treated his wound with herbs and bandages, and then set to work on turning the tongue into a weapon. He cleaned and cured it with salt and smoke, removing the slime and preserving the flesh. He twisted and coiled it into a whip-like shape, adding metal spikes to the tip to enhance its damage. He attached it to a wooden handle that he carved with swamp symbols, invoking the spirits of nature to bless his weapon.
