* You have uncovered a secret technique that enhances your abilities. You can choose one of the following skills: Acrobatics, Insight, Stealth, or Survival. You gain proficiency in this skill, and you can add half your proficiency bonus (rounded down) to any ability check you make with this skill, even if you already add your proficiency bonus.
* You have gained a secret ally who aids you in your quest for the truth. You can choose one of the following creatures: a bat, a cat, a crow, or a rat. You gain the service of this creature as a familiar, as if you had cast the ¤find familiar¤ spell, without using a spell slot or material components.


Truth Seeker

You have always been skeptical of mainstream narratives and explanations. You believe that there are hidden truths and secret agendas behind many aspects of society and the world. You consider yourself a truth seeker, tirelessly researching and spreading your theories, often facing skepticism, ridicule, and even hostility. You are determined to uncover the hidden realities and expose them to the world.

Conspiracy Theorist

You have come from a dark and seedy background, where everyone is trying to get the upper hand on everyone else. You have learned to speak the language of the underworld and blend in with other outcasts. You have advantage on Charisma checks when dealing with other pirates, smugglers, and outlaws.

No Honor

You have spent a good portion of your life sailing the astral sea, raiding ships and plundering treasures. You are a space pirate, a freebooter who lives by your own rules and answers to no one. You might have been part of a notorious pirate crew, or you might have operated as a lone wolf. Either way, you know how to pilot a spelljammer, fight in zero gravity, and survive in the harsh environment of outer space.

Your position gave you certain proficiencies and equipment that helped you in your piratical endeavors. Whether you were the captain, the first mate, the quartermaster, the navigator, the gunner, the engineer, the cook, or the deckhand, you lived a life of excitement and danger as a space pirate.
