Crown of the Iron King

wondrous item (headgear), very rare (requires attunement)

The Crown of the Iron King is a magnificent piece of craftsmanship forged entirely from pure, unadulterated iron. Its design is both elegant and fearsome, with sharp, angular edges that give it an imposing aura.

Iron skin

While wearing the crown, you gain resistance to piercing, slashing, and bludgeoning damage from weapons made of iron or steel. Additionally, your armor class (AC) increases by 1.

Iron Golem Transformation

You can use an action to activate the crown, transforming yourself into a formidable entity resembling an iron golem. While in this form, you gain the following benefits:
  • Damage Immunities: Fire, Poison, Psychic; Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing from Nonmagical Attacks that aren't Adamantine
  • Condition Immunities: Charmed, Exhaustion, Frightened, Paralyzed, Petrified, Poisoned
  • Fire Absorption. Whenever You are subjected to fire damage, you take no damage and instead regain a number of hit points equal to the fire damage dealt.
  • Immutable Form. You are immune to any spell or effect that would alter your form.
  • Magic Resistance. You have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
You remain in this form for 1 hour, until you die, or until you revert to your true form as a bonus action. Once used, this feature can't be used again until the next dawn.
