Shadowgaze Eyes

The Shadowgaze Eyes resemble polished obsidian spheres, their surface marbled with faint silver streaks. When held to the light, they reveal intricate patterns reminiscent of spiderwebs.

Obsidian Eyes

When you insert the Shadowgaze Eyes, your existing eyeballs undergo a mysterious transformation. They merge seamlessly with the obsidian spheres, becoming one with the magical artifact. Once merged, the Shadowgaze Eyes cannot be separated from your now pitch black eyeballs.

Enhanced Darkvision

When inserted into your own eye sockets, the Shadowgaze Eyes grant you exceptional darkvision. You can now see in complete darkness as if it were dim light, with a range of 30 feet. This range increases to 120 feet if you attune to the Shadowgaze Eyes.
If you already have darkvision, the Shadowgaze Eyes extend the range of your darkvision by the same amount.

Shadow Veil

While attuned to the Shadowgaze Eyes, you can use an action to cast centered on yourself as shadows pour forth from your eyes, enveloping the area in an inky veil. The darkness spreads out in a 15-foot radius, following you as you move. Within this magical darkness, you can see as if it were bright light.
