The tome can cast once, and only once. To do so, you must read aloud the last page of the tome, which contains a cryptic and ancient prophecy. Once you cast wish the tome changes permanently, losing some of it's powers and sentience, and becomes cursed. The tome is cursed and binds itself to you. You can’t break your attunement to it unless a remove curse spell or similar magic is cast on you. 10 | You are bound to a pact with an unknown entity whose power was used to cast the spell. You can't unattune from the tome unless you fulfill the entity's demand. |
