Spell points
One way to modify how a class feels is to change how it uses its spells. With this variant system, a character who has the Spellcasting feature uses spell points instead of spell slots to fuel spells. Spell points give a caster more flexibility, at the cost of greater complexity.

Homebrew options for Sorcerer
There is an option to merge spell points and sorcery points in the settings.
To make Sorcerers even more versatile you can give them the option to merge spell points and sorcery points. This gives sorcerers the option to use more metamagic in a day, at the cost of fewer spells, or to cast more spells if they forego using metamagic.
If you have the metamagic adept feat you will gain two additional spell points. Additionally if you are a 20th level sorcerer you will regain 4 spell points after each short rest.
Homebrew options for Warlock
There are no official rules for how to calculate spell points for Warlocks. There is an option to enable spell point calculation for Warlocks in the settings.
