The Boots of Running appear to be a pair of finely crafted leather boots that fit snugly around the wearer's feet and lower legs. They are made of a dark brown leather and have a subtle shimmer to them, as if they are enchanted. The soles of the boots are sturdy and appear to be reinforced with some sort of magical material, which seems to aid in the wearer's ability to move at incredible speeds.  However, once activated, the wearer must keep moving until the duration ends, unable to stop their momentum. If the wearer falls prone or is otherwise unable to use their movement, the effect ends prematurely.
 Once activated, the boots cannot be used again until the wearer has completed a long rest.
