Talisman of the Lady of Pain

This amulet is made of silver and shaped like a stylized face with blades radiating from it. It is a gift from the Lady of Pain, the enigmatic ruler of Sigil, who has taken an interest in you for some unknown reason.

Spells

This talisman has 2 charges and regains all expended charges daily at dawn. While wearing it, you can use an action to expend some of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it: (1 charge) or (2 charges). The save DC for these spells is 16.

You can’t become lost except by magical means.

Blade Aura

You can use a bonus action to cause the blades on the talisman to vibrate and emit a low hum. While the blades are vibrating, you have a +1 bonus to your AC and any hostile creature that starts its turn within 10 feet of you takes psychic damage. This effect lasts for 1 minute, or until you end it as a bonus action. You can’t use this feature again until the next dawn.

The Lady's Protection

While you wear this talisman, you are under the protection of the Lady of Pain. No deity or other powerful being can scry on you, teleport to your location, or otherwise interfere with you without risking her wrath. However, this also means that you can’t receive any aid or guidance from such beings, and you might attract unwanted attention from those who oppose or fear the Lady of Pain.
