Lycanthropy: Wererat

Lycanthropy: Wererat

Prerequisite: Infected with lycanthropy from a Wererat

Description

Wererats, cunning and elusive, are masterful infiltrators with a knack for skulking in the shadows. In their humanoid state, they often possess a wiry and agile build, with sleek, oily fur that hints at their rodent nature. Unlike their more brutish counterparts, wereboars, wererats rely on finesse rather than raw strength. Armed with daggers or other concealed weapons, they excel in swift, precise strikes that can easily incapacitate their foes.

Wererat Lycanthropy

As a wererat, you gain a Dexterity of 15 if your score isn’t already higher. You also gain immunity to Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing from Nonmagical Attacks that aren't Silvered.

Shapechanger

You can use your action to polymorph into a rat-humanoid hybrid or into a giant rat, or back into your true form, which is humanoid. Your statistics, other than your size, remain the same in each form. Any equipment you are wearing or carrying isn’t transformed. You revert to your true form if you die.

Keen Smell

You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.

Multiattack (Hybrid Form Only)

In hybrid form you can make two attacks when you take the attack action, only one of which can be a bite.

Bite (Rat or Hybrid Form Only)

You have razor sharp teeth that you can use to make unarmed strikes. When you hit with it, the strike deals + your Dexterity modifier piercing damage, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike. If the target is a humanoid, it must succeed on a DC 11 Constitution saving throw or be cursed with wererat lycanthropy.
