The Crown of the Iron King is a magnificent piece of craftsmanship forged entirely from pure, unadulterated iron. Its design is both elegant and fearsome, with sharp, angular edges that give it an imposing aura.

While wearing the crown, you gain resistance to piercing, slashing, and bludgeoning damage from weapons made of iron or steel. Additionally, your armor class (AC) increases by 1.

Lore

In the time when kingdoms were forged in the fires of ambition and ruled by the might of steel, there lived a visionary blacksmith named Thaldrin Ironheart. Thaldrin was not just a master of the forge; he was an artist, a dreamer, and a scholar of ancient texts. He became obsessed with the idea of blending the strength of iron with the regality of kingship. He delved deep into forgotten tomes, seeking secrets of ancient magics and lost civilizations, driven by a desire to create the ultimate symbol of rulership.
For years, Thaldrin toiled in his workshop, experimenting with alloys and incantations, until he discovered a long-lost ritual that allowed him to infuse a crown with the essence of an iron golem. With unwavering determination, he gathered the rarest of materials: meteoric iron, enchanted crystals, and the essence of fallen stars. Under the light of a blood moon, amidst incense and ancient chants, he forged the Crown of the Iron King.
Thaldrin's creation was not just a mere trinket; it was a testament to his artistry, his intellect, and his unyielding will. The crown was said to hold within it the spirit of an ancient Iron Golem, a guardian of a forgotten empire, who willingly merged its essence with Thaldrin's creation. The result was a crown that not only bestowed immense power but also carried the weight of centuries of history.
The Crown of the Iron King was never meant for a tyrant or a conqueror. Thaldrin, in his wisdom, intended it to find its way to a noble and just ruler, someone who would use its power to bring prosperity and harmony to their realm. To ensure this, he placed a powerful enchantment upon the crown. It would only attune to those with royal blood, binding itself to the very essence of its wearer, merging the destinies of the ruler and the ancient golem spirit within.
Legends spread about the Crown of the Iron King, its existence becoming a whispered secret among scholars and kings. Many sought it, but few were worthy. Thaldrin, content in his creation, vanished from the annals of history, leaving behind a legacy of craftsmanship and a tale of a crown that could make or break kingdoms. And so, the crown waited, patiently biding its time, for the true heir to claim its power and usher in a new era of ironclad majesty.
