You can use a bonus action to activate the sphere, causing it to hover around you and shed bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet. While the sphere is active, you gain the following benefits:

Among these majestic beings, the mighty Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon, reigned supreme as a paragon of justice and goodness. Legend tells of a time when Bahamut bestowed a fragment of his essence upon one of his most faithful followers, a Tiefling named Kieran.

The Platinum Dragon's Heart emerged as a manifestation of Bahamut's divine grace. Crafted by celestial artisans in the astral forge of the heavens, the sphere of platinum was infused with the purest light of Bahamut's essence. The cracks on its surface symbolized the challenges and trials that its future bearer, Kieran, would face on his path towards redemption and divine connection.
Kieran's journey began in the shadowy realms, where he fell into the clutches of a gang of devils. Enslaved and tormented, his salvation came in the form of a silver staff engraved with draconic symbols—a staff that held the dormant power of Bahamut. Drawing upon its magic, Kieran unleashed his innate sorcerous abilities, narrowly escaping the clutches of his demonic captors.
As he joined a group of adventurers and rose within their ranks, Kieran's connection to Bahamut deepened. Guided by the platinum staff, he learned of the dragon deity's teachings and the importance of justice and goodness. The band of adventurers, now a formidable guild, set their sights on a devil stronghold, seeking both vengeance and treasure.
Their exploits brought them wealth beyond imagination, and Kieran, with a heart fueled by gratitude and determination, became the guild's benevolent benefactor. In the depths of Hell, facing demonic threats and his own internal struggles, Kieran's yearning for Bahamut grew. A moment of desperation led him to experiment with forbidden devil magic, resulting in a brush with his tiefling heritage.
However, the path to divine connection is fraught with challenges. In Hell, Kieran faced a fearsome demon dragon that claimed the lives of several companions, leading to his own demise. Yet, his story did not end there. A loyal companion, a warlock from the party, intervened, pulling Kieran's soul back into the material plane against his will.
Resurrected but tainted by infernal energies, Kieran returned with a newfound determination to build a temple dedicated to Bahamut. In an unexpected twist of fate, a celestial being disguised as a Bahamut 'angel' bestowed upon him a boon—an enhancement of his charisma to an extraordinary level. However, Kieran, true to his chaotic nature and mistrustful of celestial intervention, rejected the boon, yearning for a direct connection with his platinum deity.
Now, with the Platinum Dragon's Heart in his possession, Kieran embarks on a quest to build his temple and unravel the mysteries of divine favor. Greedy yet determined, religiously confused yet loyal, Kieran's chaotic journey unfolds as he desperately seeks his place in the divine order and yearns for the attention of Bahamut.
