This sword is made of steel that has been cracked and shattered by a powerful lightning strike. The fragments are held together by a constant stream of electricity that flows through the blade. It emits bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet.

Magic Weapon

You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Lightning Arc

When you hit with an attack using this magic sword, the target takes an extra lightning damage. In addition, when you roll a 20 on the attack roll, lightning arcs from the target to up to two other creatures of your choice that you can see within 30 feet of it. Each of these creatures must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Lightning Rod

When you take lightning damage while holding this magic sword, you can use your reaction to absorb the lightning with the sword. You gain resistance to the lightning damage and the sword becomes empowered. For the next minute, the sword deals an additional lightning damage on a hit

Kethra was a half-elf, born to an elf father and a human mother. She inherited the best traits of both races, making her a formidable warrior and a skilled diplomat. Her father was a renowned elven swordsman, and her mother was a human bard who traveled the land, singing songs of love and adventure.

In the midst of a fierce battle, Kethra found herself surrounded by a horde of enemies. Her sword, which had served her well in countless battles before, was no match for the sheer number of foes she faced. As she fought on, she felt a sudden jolt of electricity course through her body. She looked up to see a bolt of lightning strike her sword, which began to glow with an otherworldly light.
Kethra felt a surge of power as she swung her newly transformed weapon, now known as Stormstrike, at her enemies. The sword crackled with energy as it sliced through the air, striking down foe after foe. Kethra fought with renewed vigor, her sword now a force to be reckoned with.
As the battle raged on, Kethra’s enemies began to falter. They had never seen such a weapon before, and they were powerless against its might. Kethra fought on, her sword blazing with lightning, until the last of her foes lay defeated at her feet.
From that day forward, Kethra was known throughout the land as a champion of the people, a warrior without equal. And her sword, Stormstrike, became a legend in its own right, a symbol of hope and power for all who would wield it.
