Magic Missile

When you expend a charge, you can cast . You can cast the spell at any level up to 5th level, using a number of charges equal to the spell level.
For example, you can cast it as a 1st-level spell 5 times, or as a 3rd-level spell once and a 2nd-level spell once.

Missile Barrage

When you cast using this circlet or your own spell slots, you can choose to target a single creature with all the missiles. If you do, you fire a number of extra missiles equal to the spell level. For example, if you cast magic missile as a 3rd-level spell and target only one creature, you fire 8 missiles instead of 5.

The Golden Circlet of Magic Missile was created by a powerful dwarven wizard named Betta. Betta was a master of evocation magic, and she specialized in creating spells and items that could unleash devastating blasts of force. She was also a collector of rare and exotic gemstones, which she used as components for her creations.

Betta crafted the Golden Circlet of Magic Missile as a personal project, to test her skills and knowledge. The Golden Circlet of Magic Missile is made of pure gold, shaped into a delicate band that fits around the forehead. It has five gemstones embedded in it. It was brought to my attention by /u/An_Kao and /u/EulersK when I shared the previous version of this item on reddit, that the uncommon version of the item was just a weaker wand of magic missile that required attunement.
I decided to revisit the item and make some changes to all the rarities.
